Overview

 

Established in the year 1984, the Department of English currently has over 1000 students, making it the largest in the College of Arts and Education According to many education specialists and supervisors, the IUG bachelor program in English is among the most successful in employment for its graduates.  In 1988-2007, IUG granted hundreds of new graduates the bachelor in English from its two bachelor program: Arts and Education.  In fact, many students who received a bachelor in English in the Palestinian territories were IUG graduates. At the same time, the vast majority of 1988-2007 graduates obtained full-time employment in teaching, and some found employment in other fields.
